Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas

For Spring Break 2026, we spent an incredible week sailing through the Caribbean aboard Royal Caribbean’s brand-new Star of the Seas with our 10-year-old son, our best friends, and their three kids.

This trip was the perfect combination of relaxation, beautiful Caribbean ports, time with people we love, and the opportunity to experience one of Royal Caribbean’s newest and most impressive ships firsthand.

And when I say this ship is huge. . . I mean insanely huge! There was so much to see and do that the ship truly felt like a destination of its own. From activities and entertainment to incredible dining and seemingly endless places to explore, Star of the Seas offered something for everyone in our group. The food and entertainment were some of the best we have experienced on a cruise, and having an entire week gave us the chance to enjoy the ports while still having plenty of time to experience everything the ship had to offer.

SPRING BREAK ABOARD

EXPERIENCING IT THROUGH HIS EYES

As wonderful as the ship and destinations were, one of my favorite parts of this trip was simply watching our son experience it all. Seeing the look on his face, his excitement each morning, and his anticipation for what we were going to do next was absolutely magical. Those are the moments that stay with you long after the vacation is over.

And as a travel advisor, that is exactly the feeling I want my clients to have when they travel with their own families and friends.

I don't just want to book a resort, cruise, or destination for someone. I want to help create the trip where your kids can't stop talking about what they did that day, where the adults actually get a chance to relax, where friends laugh until their stomachs hurt, and where everyone comes home with stories they'll tell for years.

Experiencing ships like Star of the Seas with my own family also gives me firsthand knowledge that I can bring back to my clients, what works for families, what is worth experiencing, how to make the most of your time onboard, and whether a ship this big is the right fit for your family.

Because at the end of the day, the best family vacations aren't just about where you go. They're about experiencing it together.
